In 2021, women in Switzerland have had the right to vote and stand for election for 50 years. But equality in planning and decision-making is still a long way off. By occupying a square in the old town of Zurich with a temporary installation, the association créatrices wants to make women’s achievements visible and celebrate it. The installation provides a stage, sound space, platform, street furniture and urban meadow all at once and it constitutes the architectural framework for discussions, song, dance, play, remembrance and networking during the action days.
