Musée de l‘Elysée et mudac
A transparent gap forms the common entrance hall for two museums. The Photography Museum in the base, which needs controlled light, and the Design Museum on top, which needs an abundance of light. This middle space concentrates public activities and builds a place inbetween two museums, where two topographies meet. Floor and ceiling touch at three points, thus resolving the building both structurally and functionally.
