Silo Erlenmatt
An former silo for grain and cocoa was transformed into a cultural center, including a hostel, restaurant and affordable ateliers. Most of the characteristic silo chambers were preserved, the new functions are accommodated by the installation of only two new floor slabs and distribution cores. Porthole-like windows now provide ventilation, light and a view without affecting the original tectonics of the facade.
