Stadtcasino Basel
The extension grows out of the existing building as if it had always been there, generating space on several levels to accommodate foyers, bars, rehearsal rooms, dressing rooms and service facilities. Like the existing building, it has a neo-baroque façade, but only on a closer look one notices that it is not made of stone, but of the simple material wood.
