Zentrum Brütten – Alterswohnen
The green “Allmend” (commons) will become a public meeting space for people of all ages in the village center. Three new buildings will be arranged around it: the long, the flat and the high house, but all with the same genes. Overhanging porches, open arbors and a light dress of Eternit panels characterize them. They develop a contemporary architectural vocabulary and meet the current challenges of ecological and sustainable construction, while at the same time densyfing a previously poorly used area.
